The one day Symposium took place on April 24, 2007 at the Harriman Institute at Columbia University - the oldest academic institution in the United States devoted to the study of the countries of the former Soviet Union, East Central Europe and the Balkans.
Were presented up to 14 papers covering different periods and aspect of Georgian Culture.
