SYMPOSIUM CONTENT
Symposium will cover the following topics:
• Cultural Studies and Art Historical Research on the Caucasian and particularly Georgian Culture
The topic is not restraint to any specific field of art and culture. Preference will be given to the general, broad-spectrum studies, rather than to the very specific investigations concentrating on particular monuments.
• Cultural Preservation, Restoration/Conservation
The topics might include the research of conservation/restoration issues related to Georgian historical monuments, as well as the international case studies and pilot projects that might be applied to Georgian heritage.
• Cultural Management and Tourism Development
The topics might cover cultural management and cultural tourism development issues concentrating on both Caucasian/Georgian examples and international pilot projects and case studies and share of experiences.
Official language of the Symposium will be English.
PARTICIPATION
Three forms of active participation at the conference are envisaged:
As speakers - reading a paper in one of the sessions
In this case you should present an abstract (see the instruction in section CALL FOR PAPERS) till July 10, 2009 to: secretariat@symposiumgeorgia.org
The accepted speakers should fill up the registration form and the payment of the Registration fees (all these information are on Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco site)and submit
full length papers. Further requirements and deadline for full length papers will be announced additionally.
As Poster Presenter
In this case you should present an abstract (see the instruction in section CALL FOR PAPERS) till July 10, 2009 to: secretariat@symposiumgeorgia.org
The accepted presenters should fill up the registration form and the payment of the Registration fees (all these information are on Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco site, to prepare stands
and submit full length texts. Further requirements and deadline for stands and full length papers will be announced additionally.
